Ascentis was incorporated in 2003. It started as software services company with 2 headcount.  In its initial years, the company develops stored value card programs for cyber cafes. The solution was called Cardsurf It was further extended as a solution to arcade centers. The solution effectively transforms coin operated game machines into contactless cashless payment with smart cards.

  

As more arcade and cyber cafe operators request for bonus programs to reward customers, membership and rewards functions were added to Cardsurf.

This was a pivotal moment for Ascentis, as it gradually transforms from a software house providing smart card solutions to a loyalty and rewards solution provider. Cardsurf was eventually retired, and it its place today, is our cloud based loyalty and rewards platform - AscentisCRM
